Reading of The Day!

Strength of Character

"Greatness lies not in being strong, but in the right use of strength."

- Henry Ward Beecher

If we are merely strong, what good does it do us or anyone else? Or if we prove our strength by throwing our weight around and using it randomly, without much thought, our strength is likely overshadowed by our bad judgment. On D-Day the soldiers put on a show of great strength, but they did it only as a last resort and for an admirable cause-to defend a besieged country and a threatened world.

TODAY I WILL HONOR THE RIGHT USE OF STRENGTH, AND I RESOLVE TO DEDICATE MY TALENTS AND ABILITIES TOWARD HONORABLE ENDEAVORS.
