Take That First Step

We all instinctively know what life takes, don't we? It generally takes determination and hard work. Often, we hesitate committing ourselves to the work before us because we feel lazy or scared. We may feel relatively content with the way things are, so we are lazy about going after something better. Or we are scared that we might fail, or that it will be a lot of work without as much reward as we would like. It is easier to just let time go by, but we must take that first step and conquer the roadblocks we have set before ourselves. It is more honorable and rewarding to do what we know we should be doing. Those who are determined to realize their dreams see the way as a stimulating, beautiful, challenging adventure.
