I always loved teachers who began each semester by saying, "In this class, there are no dumb questions. Ask away." I am a curios person. If I don't know something, I'll ask the first person I see who might have the answer on the Internet. Perhaps you shy away from all the discussions about health care because it seems overwhelming. Start researching it, and having conversations. Or maybe the whole climate change controversy, or handgun legislation, or other contentious issues confuse you. Start figuring them out.
TODAY IF A TOPIC COMES UP THAT I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH, I WILL DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON IT.
