( Trisha Yearwood -Prepared by Dell Mara Lovell )

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  1. 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

  2. 1/2 cup granules sugar

  3. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  4. 1 large egg

  5. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

  7. 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped

  8. 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

  9. 3/4 cup macadamia nuts, chopped ( or any other nuts if desired )  Cooking :

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

With an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars together until smooth.  Add the vanilla and egg, mixing well.  Sift together flour and baking soda.  Spoon the flour mixture gradually into the creamed sugar mixture.

Stir in cranberries, white chocolate, and macadamia nuts ( or other nuts, if desired ).

Drop by heaping spoonfuls,  about 2 tablespoons, onto prepared baking sheets, 2 inches apart.  Bake one sheet at a time until lightly golden on top and the edges are set, 12 to 15 minutes.  Cool on the sheet about 5 minutes, and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.  Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

These cookies had me at Cranberry haha.  So at my church it was ladies night, this event we do bible journaling we have coffee and a cookie exchange.  They are bite size cookies and they taste so good if you love cranberry and chocolate or want to try something different this is a cookie to try.

PS:  after bible journaling was over there were cookies left over and took all that was left. Smh addictive lol
