Revenge Is a No- Win Enterprise
"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves."
When we feel hurt, it is common to desire revenge. The problem, however, is that if you strike in revenge, your target will likely want revenge in return; soon the cycle gets completely out of hand, and the situation can even become dangerous. Both individuals end up spending ridiculous amounts of time and energy on something that likely would have taken minutes (okay, maybe hours) to resolve in a constructive fashion. Talk things out with the individual who wronged you. If one of you i not of the appropriate mind-set at the time, walk away for a while or get a willing, unbiased acquaintance involved. Constructive resolution will allow both of you to move on to better, more interesting things.
IF ANYONE WRONGS ME TODAY, I WILL NOT GIVE IN TO ANY LONGING FOR REVENGE.
